Welcome. I’m Dr. Patrick A. Mansfield (he/they), a Licensed Acupuncturist and Board-Certified Herbalist. I received my master’s and doctoral degrees in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine from Emperor’s College in Santa Monica, CA, on the native land of the Tongva and Chumash people.

My doctoral research centered on the use of acupuncture to treat chronic prostatitis/chronic pelvic pain syndrome. This work not only deepened my clinical focus but also laid the foundation for my first book, which will explore holistic approaches to men’s health.

This ongoing project reflects my commitment to expanding the conversation around men’s wellness, and integrating modern clinical insights with traditional healing practices.

I am currently a professor in the Herbal Medicine Department at the European Institute of Integrative Health Sciences. In addition to teaching, I develop and lead courses that explore the core philosophies of Traditional Chinese Medicine—particularly as they relate to the creative process, alchemical principles, and the energetics of herbs and herbal preparations.
